Isabelle B JOHNSON was born on December 8, 1890, in Key West, Florida to John William JOHNSON (1863-1918) and Isabelle Bradley JOHNSON (1869-1920). Their children were Isabelle, Mary, Raymond Jr, and Anne.
In 1900, Isabelle lived with her parents and siblings at 218 Simonton St in Key West, Florida. She married Raymond Lockwood JACK in May 1909 in Key West.
In 1915 Raymond and Isabelle lived in Richmond, New York where Raymond worked as a revenue officer. Living with them were their children and one servant, Maria Arrendale from the West Indies. In 1920, the family lived at 423 Bull St. in Savannah, Georgia. Raymond worked for the U.S. Coast Line as a Captain. In 1930, the family lived at 2601 SE Court in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Raymond was a Commander with the Coast Guard. Between 1935 and 1940, they lived in Berkeley and Santa Monica, California where Raymond continued work as a Captain for the Coast Guard.

Isabelle was educated at the Convent of Mary Immaculate in Key West, Florida.
According to her obituary, “Isabelle was an art instructor for 15 years and owned and operated Rainbow Rembrandts Art Studio in the Rainbow Valley. She was a member of the Rainbow Valley Grange.”
From the research notes of Jane Garcia Rowland, “Isabelle had a very strong character, was capable and efficient. She was a beautiful woman with fair skin, medium brown naturally curly hair with red lights in ti and had blue eyes. She was a larger person than her sister, Sue, about 5’7” tall.”
At the time of her death of heart failure on December 27, 1978, Isabelle lived at 1550 Capalina Road in Escondido, California. She was 88 years old.
