Justin Everett Knowles, Jane Ann HOPKINS Knowles 1870. In 1865, Jane’s parents, James Hopkins and Francis Elizabeth HARROD Hopkins contracted yellow fever and died on the same day, August 11, on Knockemdown Key. They left behind four children ranging from 12 years old to five.

Is there somewhere to order that awesome map itself ? We also had a lot of relatives there thru the ages 😉 1850 was about the first… Stock Island and Boca Chica. The tax office where Adolphus got his throat cut by Eatson. Would love to know where the Wreckers vourt was, the salt flat plots the turtle crawls, the docks the family used the church of the baptisms the convent of St Mary’s, and so many family homes. Awesome how you put all your stuff together ! ❤

I picked that map up while I was in Key West. They have them all over the place. You might be able to find a copy online. I’ll look through my files to see if I have an extra copy that isn’t written on.
